Tualatin Hills Financial Aid
Tualatin Hills Swim Club is dedicated to supporting the underprivileged in our community through our Financial Aid program. In alignment with our commitment to social equity, we are working to eliminate barriers to participation in our award-winning swimming program. We recognize the historical inequities in water sports and are actively working to make swimming more accessible to individuals from all backgrounds.
Households whose income falls below the Federal Free Meal Guidelines are eligible to receive a 50% reduction of monthly dues per eligible member of the family.

To Apply:
To apply for the THSC Financial Aid program fill out the THSC Financial Aid Application. Email the completed form and necessary documentation to financialaid@thunderboltswimming.org. All sections of the application must be fully completed. The information you provide will remain confidential and is essential in determining your eligibility for financial aid.

Necessary Documentation:
Provide one of the following options as proof of income eligibility:
- Current award letter for Beaverton School District Free Lunch Program
- Current award letter for THPRD Financial Aid program
- Payroll stub (last two months)
- Child Support / Alimony Agreement
- Social Security/Disability/Pensions award letter
- Unemployment Weekly Wage Benefit Letter
- If none of these forms of documentation are available, please contact the policy administrator for alternate options at financialaid@thunderboltswimming.org
Additional Notes:
Applications are accepted year-round, with funds available for both the current short course and long course seasons (September to July). Applicants must reapply at the start of the yearly season during registration.
Only individuals listed on the application will be eligible for financial aid. Any unused funds cannot be carried over to future seasons.
Full payment of registration fees is required at the time of club registration. A refund will be issued after registration and approval of the financial aid application. Please reach out if you need help with the registration process and fees.
All information provided by applicants, families, and grant recipients will remain confidential and anonymous, shared only with program administrators.
To remain eligible for financial aid, applicants and their families must maintain an account in good standing with the club and adhere to the Code of Conduct for Athletes and Parents/Guardians, as well as the Club Handbook.
Financial aid funds will be applied to monthly dues only. Applicants and their families are still responsible for fulfilling all fundraising and volunteer hour requirements
